Welcome to Dosbarth Derbyn Ffion! Miss Hughes is the class teacher, and she adores working with the youngest learners. The classroom is a joyful, curious and caring space where every day brings new discoveries and opportunities to grow.

In Dosbarth Ffion, children are encouraged to explore the world around them through play, imagination and hands-on experiences. We celebrate every small step forward - whether it’s sharing kindly, asking a thoughtful question, or trying something new with confidence. The children learn how to be good friends, how to listen to one another, and how to express their feelings in positive ways.

Learning is rooted in play, and we take inspiration from the world around us - from the changing seasons to magical stories and outdoor adventures. Health and wellbeing are at the heart of our day, with plenty of movement, quiet moments and chances to talk about how we feel.

Our aim is to spark a lifelong love of learning from the very beginning, building a strong foundation for each child’s journey through school. Every child is unique, and we’re proud to support them as they discover who they are, what they enjoy, and how to be the very best version of themselves.
